Zones of Regulation
4pm - 5pm | 27 Mar 2018

Zones of Regulation is an approach geared toward helping students gain skills in consciously regulating their actions, which in turn leads to increased control and problem solving abilities.

This workshop will explore this approach and is suitable for teachers of primary age children.

Presented by Fiona Carr, a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about empowering parents and educators to support children who may be struggling with learning, self-esteem, sensory processing and behaviour. Fiona has a wealth of knowledge and extensive practical experience, particularly with individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Over the past 15 years, Fiona has worked in a variety of paediatric settings including schools (mainstream and special), early intervention programs, public health and private practice. She currently works at Amazing Kids OT Clinic and has 3 children of her own.
