What Your Teenage Daughter Wants to Tell You But Can't

Connecting with your adolescent girl

Trying to guide a teenage daughter through a complex adolescent world is… well, complicated. Alcohol and drugs, mental health concerns, body image issues, premature and/or non-consensual intimacy, and friendship challenges are just the tip of the iceberg.

Join Dr Justin Coulson for this session as he unpacks the science and provides practical advice for parenting in the REAL world. You’ll leave this presentation with simple tools and techniques to help you guide our daughters safely and successfully through adolescence.

About the Presenter

Dr Justin Coulson is one of very few people in Australia with a PhD in Positive Psychology - and the ONLY person in the country (and almost the world) whose PhD includes a careful look at the intersection of Positive Psychology and
relationships, particularly in family life. One of Australia’s most respected and popular corporate and education keynote speakers, facilitators, authors, and researchers, he has spoken to and worked with tens of thousands of people aiming to improve relationships, meaning, and wellbeing in leadership, education and especially in family life.

Addressing the issues that matter most, Justin uses his analytical and practical approach to address challenges facing today’s workplaces and educational institutes. Most importantly, Justin is an expert in wrestling (his) children, reading Dr Suess, sliding down steep hills on cardboard boxes, and teaching his children to ride bikes. He and his wife Kylie are the parents of six children and live in Brisbane.
