What do three drama teachers do in between lesson planning, marking and re-writing curriculum documents for the 11th time? They put on an hilarious show about lesson planning, marking and re-writing curriculum documents.

Fresh from a sold out run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Hashtag TeacherLife is a comedy show made by teachers, about teachers, for teachers, and anyone else that has ever known a teacher. So pretty much... everyone! Grade: A+!

Caitlin Brown, Steve Varley and Amanda Watson are drama teachers in Melbourne who collectively have been performing in festival shows since 2010. This is their first collaboration. Their mission is to bring joy to the otherwise stressful lives of teachers and to appease their own egos by showing their students how it's done. Hashtag TeacherLife is a 50-minute sketch comedy show with a touch of physical theatre and puppetry. A tongue-in-cheek look at what it is teachers actually do all day, Hashtag TeacherLife looks beyond the hype and hashtags to explore the crazy, exhausting, confusing and wonderful job that is teaching.
